Metamorphic Technique
What is the Metamorphic Technique?
The Metamorphic Technique is a transformational tool which can be used for self healing, and personal development. It is a very gentle, non-invasive treatment, which is accessible and suitable for anyone.
The principles of the treatment are that it works on the period between your conception and birth. It is thought that the circumstances of our conception, the emotions of our Mother during our time in the womb, and the way that we come in to the world, ie the type of birth, whether it was easy, difficult, breach, premature, late, traumatic etc, all have a subtle impact on the blueprint of our lives.
Our cells, even before we are fully formed as human beings, hold the memory of our early environment and experiences. When an experience affects us strongly, the emotions attached to that experience can set up energy patterns, which stay with us.
As we make our way through life, certain patterns of thought or behaviour may no longer serve us: they are no longer useful or relevant to us. This may manifest in the way we react to stressful situations, the way we interact with friends and family, whether we find it easy or difficult to express and feel love, for example.
The therapist works very gently on specific areas of the feet, hands and head. It is a light touch, using massage type movements, including stroking and light tapping.
The session is totally passive on both the part of the therapist and the client. The therapist isn't trying to fix anything, or analyze anything; they are just the catalyst, enabling this transformation to take place. The client is just relaxing their own Life Force Energy will shift naturally with no effort on either part to facilitate whatever transformation and release is needed.
